High Data Plan/Equipment Changes Notice
ACTION NEEDED
The carrier is making changes to high data plans and implementing new equipment restrictions. Information about this change, what you need to know and how your service may be affected can be found below.
We have been informed by our carrier that some equipment is no longer compatible with our high data plans.
Known devices being blacklisted:
- ALL Netgear Devices including:
- Netgear M1 Nighthawk MR1100
- Netgear LB1120/LB1220
- ALL ZTE Devices
Please note that this is NOT an all-inclusive list and there may be other devices affected by this change that we have not yet been notified about.
Unfortunately this decision is out of our hands and was made by the carrier.
If you received our email, the device you are using was identified with an IMEI match to be one of these blacklisted devices. You must purchase a new device, or risk your line becoming de-activated. We recommend our approved Beam X-71 Router below.
Alternatively, you do have the option to purchase a new device on your own by searching for an “Unlocked 4G LTE Router/Hotspot” from your favorite online retailer. However, please be aware that we CANNOT guarantee compatibility on any 3rd-party device, nor can we confirm whether or not the device you purchased or are thinking about purchasing will work on the network. If you are unsure, we strongly recommend simply purchasing the Beam X-71 Router as it is a known approved device.
